Since its launch on February 7, 2023, Microsoft Copilot has proved to be the real deal for many people of different classes. Based on its large language model, it is able to do unbelievable tasks, including citing sources, creating poems, generating images, and even writing songs.
Microsoft Copilot has become increasingly popular, transforming how we interact with digital devices. Microsoft’s recent efforts have improved our experience with the chatbot by integrating it into different apps and sites. After finding the Copilot bot, tap on the “Start” button. It will prompt you to accept the terms and conditions and share your phone number with Microsoft for verification. After verification, you will be able to interact with the copilot on Telegram.
Limitations of Microsoft Copilot for Telegram
Despite the benefits associated with Microsoft Copilot for Telegram, we cannot ignore some of its limitations. The limitations include:
- Text-based prompts only: The Copilot currently recognizes and reciprocates only with text-based prompts. Image generation and other multimodal features are not currently available, but we hope that Microsoft will integrate these features in the near future.
- Daily limit: Although the Copilot is free, it has a limit on responses. You can only engage in 30 back-and-forth conversations per day with the chatbot.
- Privacy concerns: Some concerned users have raised the issue of privacy. These users find it unnecessary to share their phone number with the bot, considering Telegram’s privacy-first approach.
- Recommendation to download the Copilot app: Instead of integrating all Copilot features within Telegram, Copilot suggests downloading the separate Copilot app or visiting the web version.
While the current state of Copilot on Telegram has limitations, it is a promising addition, and we may see further improvements in future updates considering the fact that it is new. What do you think of this new feature? Let me know in the comments.
